JACKIE RICHARDSON—vocals
Jackie Richardson is a Canadian treasure with a voice that can soothe your soul and stir your spirit. She has graced stages, film and TV screens and recording studios across the country with her warmth, charm and incredible talent.
Known to many as "Nana" in the Rodgers Home Phone ads, Jackie was also host of the CBC/Vision TV series "Hallelujah" and the CBC Radio series "The Blues-A 100 Year History".
She currently stars as Jazzmin in the Disney/CBC co-production "Doodlebops"
And this year received the lifetime achievement award from the Canadian actor's equity association to add to other awards including a Dora for "Cookin' At The Cookery", The Lifetime Achievement Award from the Toronto Blues Society and Gemini, Juno, Jessie, Betty and NAACP nominations.
She is the proud mother of Kim Richardson who works out of Montreal and whose latest CD "Kaleidoscope" features an amazing mother and daughter duet.
