CHRIS LOWE—voice
Christopher Lowe was what you would call a true 'church baby'. He could clap on beat and sing on key even before he could walk.
Christopher has always had a love for music and for God, but was a very introverted child. Finally, one Sunday morning at the age of fifteen, his singing ministry became public when he sang a song called "I Won't Complain" by Rev. Paul Jones. Christopher broke through his shyness and sang to God with all his heart, and the church was blessed. That was 15 years ago, and he's still singing.
Known for his distinctively smooth tone, precision, and range, over the years Christopher has been a member and guest singer for many choirs and quartets, and is a regular soloist at his, and other churches internationally. As a lead singer for the University Of Toronto Gospel Choir (UTGC), Christopher has had the opportunity to sing at major venues like Massey Hall (Toronto), The Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts (Toronto), and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland, OH). One of his highlights with UTGC was a 9-day tour through Germany and Sweden doing concerts at various venues, which culminated at the Stockholm Gospel Festival in Stockholm, Sweden. Currently Christopher is a singer/songwriter at Refuge City Pentecostal Church in Ajax, Ontario where he is a member of the youth board, a Sunday School teacher, a musician (drummer), a worship leader, and co-director of the church choir. Christopher also sings in a male quartet called Surrendered, while working on his own solo ministry.
